Pulling Power: SEO Landing Pages
In addition to the main pages of your website (eg. home, about, contact etc.), you may wish to develop one or more landing pages to attract organic search traffic. Your landing pages should contain keywords and phrases that your prospective customers are likely to search for in Google. This process is called Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
Here’s an example of a series of landing pages I wrote for MyBudget. Each page contains specific, targeted keywords and phrases that relate to the different financial predicaments that MyBudget can assist with.
The keys to writing good SEO copy are to identify the highest ranking search terms and to keep the copy natural. Google’s complex algorithms have been designed to recognize unnatural or repetitive instances of copy.
